Today in lecture class, we learned about visual perception. Visual perception is the connection between 2D and 3D. An example of 2D is plain paper, which is Image 1. Meanwhile, an example of 3D is paper that has already been folded, like Image 2, and also a paper crane, which you can see in Image 3 and Image 4. Besides that, I learned that motion is connected with 2D and 3D. Also, time + motion creates illusions and these illusions are created from 2D and 3D. Furthermore, parallex and muscular are combined to perceive and see space, size and distance. In addition, partial overlap is the overlapping of 2D and 3D. Overall, I enjoyed making the paper crane and visual perception notes. This practical activity made it easier for me to understand visual perception and it was also very fun to do.
